Well, well… what do you know… this blog has been running for a year! Here’s a link to the very first post.
The hope and dream were that over time you will find something here to inspire you, make you think, and then think again.
Well, judging by the comments on Facebook, via email and those I receive in person, it seems the blog is living up to its promise.
A BIG Thank You to YOU dear Reader. Thank you for your comments and feedback. Keep them coming!
And of course, a few weeks ago there was The Very Inspiring Bloggers Award – a fun game of blogger’s tag intended to recognise people who inspire others through their blog. It was a giddy surprise and I was mightily pleased.
Starting a blog was a journey of risk into the unknown.
- What will I write?
- Will people read it?
- What if they don’t like it?
- What if I have nothing to say?
All those ego thoughts plagued me for a long time before I started. They are much less fearsome these days and far and few between. Besides, a tortoise only gets somewhere by sticking his neck out.
So this tortoise did and can even list the five most popular posts thus far:
- This thing called FEAR – Loosening the grip of fear.
- What? Me? Never! – Change your mood and feelings by choosing what you want.
- Beware These Words – Inflammatory language that undermine relationships.
- Baby Step, Baby Step – How small consistent steps can lead to unimaginable results.
- Spirit, Life, Love – Contemplative thoughts for the New Year.
Enjoy! And let me know HERE what you think.
