Surprise! Surprise! And a big one it was too! Someone nominated me for The Very Inspiring Blogger Awards. How cool is that! ‘Chuffed’ I am, I am, yes, I am… to be honoured like that by none other than Judith Morgan, who is the inspiration behind the soul chats and putting audio on my blog.
Now to claim this, there is a little fun:
The rules:
- Display the award logo on your blog.
- Link back to the person who nominated you.
- State 7 things about yourself.
- Nominate 15 other bloggers for the award and link to them.
- Notify those bloggers of the nomination and the awards requirements.
Seven random things about me:
- Since 1996, all my cars except one have been red. Only one was chosen because it was red. The odd one out was green and I did not have it for very long.
- I was 18 years old before I heard about anyone else with the same name, Riana.
- When asked how long I have been in the UK, I love to say ‘since the turn of the last century, ’ though I have to pick the audience with care.
- The most avid reader of my blog is my 80 year old dad – he comments off list on every blog post.
- As children, we would often go fishing with my dad. I caught a baby shark on one such occasion. We put it back in the sea.
- October marks the one year anniversary of my blog.
- I can say ‘Thank you for the food, it was delicious’ in Danish.
Here are my nominations for this award.
