The photo in this post is that of a stained glass window depicting Archangel Gabriel with the Virgin Mary. I took it during my dad’s visit, the day we went to Winchester Cathedral – found it in the Epiphany Chapel. I suspect there is a window with Archangel Michael as well. While  browsing in the gift shop, I found stained glass window transfers kits of both Archangels. The one of Archangel Gabriel was exactly like the photo here. That’s what makes me think Archangel Michael is represented on a stained glass window somewhere in the Cathedral.

Archangel Michael is the leader of the angels, carries a sword of truth and a shield of protection. He embodies courage, strength, truth and can help you in relationships, personal and spiritual development. He can free you from negative issues from your past.

Archangel Gabriel is known as the Messenger angeI, the angel of Communication. Gabriel will help you communicate effectively with friends, family and colleagues. We have to do our homework though and be honest with ourselves about our needs and wants. For some people, including me, this can be very difficult.

I am no authority on angels. If you want to know more, there is much on the internet.  Doreen Virtue and Diana Cooper are two of the most well known names on the subject. Then there are many others such as Ros Place.

From these sources it is clear that angels come from a place of love, that they love us unconditionally and without exception. There are times in your life when such a message is very comforting, reassuring and gives you hope, however tenuous. So I want to leave you with this message:

You are loved. The Angels love you and they always will, unconditionally and without exception.

Be open to it, accept it, feel it, remember it.
