This morning I was looking for a lovely notebook to start a process called The Rampage of Appreciation, from the book Ask and it is Given I mentioned in last week’s blog.

I knew just the notebook I wanted to use. It was one I started using around September last year when a group of us decided to implement the practices in a book called I am Rich Beyond My Wildest Dreams, I am, Iam, I am, by Tom and Penelope Pauley. In a nutshell, it is about making lists of the things you want and tithing. I never got into it wholeheartedly; only as far as getting a notebook, making my first list and doing the tithing.

This was the notebook I picked up this morning to start my new process. As I opened the notebook, my eye fell on an entry in the middle of the first page:  ‘I have new curtains in my bedroom.’

Well, blow me down! I DO have new curtains in my bedroom!!

I recently moved and I HAVE NEW CURTAINS IN MY BEDROOM!

SPOOKY

This was spooky; so I sat down to take a good look at the list.

At the top of the list:

I have a new car. Guess what, I do!!
Two entries down… I have new clients. Guess what, I do!!
Further down the page: I have new curtains in my lounge. Yes, you’ve guessed it, I do!
I have new curtains in my bedroom. Indeed I do; that’s the one that caught my eye.
I have a lovely new office. You bet I do!

And this was just page ONE!

Turning over, there are five, another FIVE entries on page two where I can say ‘Yes I do!’

The same goes for the third page; another FIVE entries – all true; all of which I can say ‘Yes I do!’

One of them reads ‘I have a published book.’ Last year I was a contributing author to a book. This book, Communication Impact, was published on the website Lulu.com two weeks ago.

Wow!

UNIVERSE AT WORK

This discovery was so totally unexpected and mind blowing, I just had to share it.

I have a new appreciation for the workings of the Universe.

And I think I had better go back to this process, start writing down the things I want and pick up on the tithing again.
